Survey during term, deliver during closure

We survey and design while the school is open, so the programme is fully specified, ordered and resourced before the holiday starts. The work begins on day one of the break, not day five.

A written safeguarding plan

All site operatives hold enhanced DBS clearance. Access routes, welfare arrangements, segregation from pupils and sign-in procedures are agreed with your safeguarding lead in writing before mobilisation.

Phased so the school keeps running

Where works extend into term time, we phase by block or floor with temporary supplies, out-of-hours shifts and daily reinstatement. No classroom loses power without a planned alternative.

Weekly reporting to your governors

A one-page progress report each week: what completed, what is next, spend against budget, and anything that needs a decision. Written for a business manager, not an engineer.

In most cases, yes. A school rewire during holidays, a full LED conversion or a fire alarm replacement can often fit within the available closure when it is surveyed, designed and resourced during term. Where a scheme genuinely cannot fit into one break, we say so at design stage and phase it safely across two.
Every operative attending an education site holds enhanced DBS clearance, and we hold the records centrally. We issue a site-specific safeguarding plan before mobilisation covering access routes, welfare, segregation and sign-in, agreed with your designated safeguarding lead.
Yes. Trust-wide programmes are a core part of our education work: one point of contact, one reporting format and consistent specification across every site. Condition surveys across an estate let us prioritise spend where the risk is highest rather than where the complaint was loudest.

We provide the technical evidence — condition surveys, photographic records, remedial schedules, costed specifications and carbon or energy savings modelling — that funding applications require. We do not write the bid itself, but we supply the engineering substantiation bid writers ask for, in the format they need.

As a minimum: fixed wire testing (EICR) on a five-year cycle, monthly and annual emergency lighting tests to BS 5266, weekly and periodic fire alarm testing to BS 5839, and PAT testing on portable equipment by risk. We can hold all of it under one planned maintenance contract with certification stored against each site.
Our 24/7 emergency line is answered by an engineer, not a call centre. Education sites on a maintenance contract get priority response. A loss of power in a school affects safeguarding, catering and access control — we treat it as urgent rather than routine.
