Electrical Compliance Testing Packages - Every Test, One Contract, One Annual Summary.
What is an electrical compliance package?
It’s a single annual contract that covers all the electrical testing your building legally requires — EICR, PAT testing, emergency lighting tests, fixed appliance testing — with one contractor managing the schedule, one invoice at the end of the year and one compliance summary document that shows everything that’s been done.
The alternative is what most facilities managers currently do: manage each test separately, chase different contractors on different renewal dates, piece together certificates from three or four sources when an auditor or insurer asks for them. It works, technically. It’s also more effort than it needs to be, and it’s the kind of thing that quietly slips when someone changes jobs or the renewal date falls at a busy time.

The Annual Compliance Summary
The most useful thing we produce isn’t a certificate. It’s the document that ties all of them together.
At the end of each contract year we produce a single Annual Compliance Summary covering every test carried out, the result of each, the current status of every certificate, any outstanding remedial items and the scheduled dates for the year ahead. One document. Everything in it.
It’s the document you need when your insurer asks for compliance evidence, when a local authority inspector turns up, or when a new facilities manager takes over the building and needs to understand what’s been done and when the next tests are due. We’ve had clients tell us it’s the first time they’ve had a clear picture of their building’s compliance status. That shouldn’t be remarkable — but it is.
Multi-site and portfolio programmes
If you manage more than one building, we run the programme across your whole estate. Same structure at every site, coordinated scheduling, consistent documentation format and a portfolio-level summary that gives you a single view of compliance status across all locations.
- FM providers and property management companies: we work as your sub-contractor, producing documentation to your required format
- Retail chains, care home groups, logistics operators: we coordinate scheduling across all sites without you having to manage it
- Portfolio compliance summaries: site-level and aggregate reporting
How the contract works
We start with a brief call or site visit to understand your building, the tests you currently have in place and any upcoming compliance dates. We then put together a package specification and price. Once agreed, we manage everything from there: scheduling, attendance, documentation, remedial work recommendations. You get a notification before every visit and the certificate or record within a few days of it.
If you have an existing contractor and want to switch: we carry out an initial audit to confirm the current status of all your certificates before we take over. If we find any gaps, we flag them before the contract starts rather than after.
Compliance packages sit alongside our planned preventive maintenance services — many clients combine both under one programme.
Frequently asked questions
Can we customise what’s in our package?
Yes — and we’d encourage it. The standard scope above covers most commercial buildings, but if your insurer specifies shorter EICR cycles, you have a large number of fixed appliances or your building is higher risk, we adjust accordingly. The package is built around your building, not the other way around.
What if a test finds something that needs fixing?
We tell you straight away — verbally if we’re on site and it’s serious, in the written report for less urgent findings. We classify every deficiency and give you a recommended timescale for remediation. We can carry out the remedial work ourselves; the certificate isn’t issued until the installation passes.
How are the tests scheduled?
We track all the renewal dates and come back to you in advance to arrange access. Monthly emergency lighting tests are carried out without you needing to prompt us. You’ll always know when we’re coming.
Do we get digital copies of all certificates?
Yes. Every certificate and test record is provided digitally and consolidated in the Annual Compliance Summary. We can integrate with your building management or document system where that’s useful.
Can you take over from our current electrical contractor?
Yes. We carry out an initial compliance audit to establish where you currently stand before the contract starts. No assumptions, no gaps inherited without knowing about them.
Do you cover multiple sites under one contract?
Yes. One contract, one invoice, one point of contact across your estate. Site-level and portfolio-level compliance summaries included.
