30+ years delivering commercial electrical and energy projects across the UK.

A NICEIC-approved commercial electrical contractor based in Warrington – delivering electrical installations, renewable energy systems and ongoing maintenance for businesses nationwide.

Turn up, do the work properly, produce the documentation.

We work with facilities managers, estates teams, operations directors and procurement teams across the commercial, industrial and public sectors.

Barrow Electrical Ltd is a NICEIC-approved commercial electrical contractor based in Warrington, delivering electrical installations, renewable energy systems and ongoing maintenance for businesses across the UK.

We have been doing this for over 30 years. In that time the work has evolved – from commercial electrical installations to a broader offer that includes commercial solar PV, EV charging infrastructure, battery storage and LED lighting upgrades – but the fundamentals have not: turn up, do the work properly, produce the documentation, and be straight with the client about what is and isn’t achievable.

Our clients range from single-site businesses to multi-site national operators requiring coordinated rollout programmes. Whatever the scale, the same team is accountable from first survey to final sign-off.

Winner of the High Sheriff Award for Excellence, 2026.

The High Sheriff’s Awards recognise organisations making a genuine contribution to their county — not commercial performance, but the standard of what a business puts back. We were recognised in 2026 for our work supporting local charities, community organisations and grassroots sport across Warrington and the North West.

Four things we don't compromise on

Plain commitments that shape how every project is run — not a values statement for a wall.

Quality is not negotiable on site

If something is not right, we address it before handover — not after a snagging list. The work is checked by the people accountable for it.

Documentation matters

Every project is handed over with a complete pack: NICEIC certificates, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and test records. We do not chase our own paperwork.

Honesty is better for everyone

If a project is not viable, we say so. If a budget is not realistic, we say that too. Our relationships are built on repeat work and referrals.

One contractor, one point of accountability

We do not subcontract the electrical work to a separate firm. The people who survey, design and install a project are our team.

Accountable people, not a faceless firm

The organisations we back

Ongoing support rather than one-off donations. Logos and further names to be added, confirm with each charity before publishing their mark.

North West Cancer Research

Funding research into the cancers that affect this region most, carried out at North West institutions. A charity whose work stays in the area that raises the money.

Warrington & Halton Hospitals

The hospitals our own families use. Charitable giving funds the equipment, facilities and patient comforts that sit outside core NHS budgets — practical things, close to home.

Brianna Ghey Legacy Project

The hospitals our own families use. Charitable giving funds the equipment, facilities and patient comforts that sit outside core NHS budgets — practical things, close to home.

Warrington Youth Zone

Somewhere for young people in the town to go, seven days a week. Sport, training and creative facilities for those who would otherwise have no affordable alternative.

Warrington Disability Partnership

A Warrington-founded organisation providing independent living support, equipment and advice to disabled people across the region — run largely by the people who use it.

Main sponsor of Warrington Rylands FC

Backing a club that does more than play football.

Barrow Electrical has been the main sponsor of Warrington Rylands FC for two years. Non-league clubs run on tight margins and volunteer effort, and sponsorship at this level does not disappear into a marketing budget — it pays for kit, travel, pitch maintenance and the youth teams that give local children somewhere to be.

This year we are helping the club move into a new stadium, alongside the community programmes it runs across Warrington. It is the kind of support we prefer: local, visible, and genuinely needed.
